Cutlon® cut-resistant fabric is designed to prevent cut injuries in sports and work environments. It can be used in ice hockey or at work, to protect against cuts.
Cutlon®, made by Orneule, combines comfort, exceptional cut protection, and easy maintenance in a unique way. Cutlon® is a thin and flexible material that ensures excellent user comfort.
Qualities of Cutlon® Cut-Resistant Fabric
Protection: Cut-resistant fabric offers an extremely high level of protection against cuts. The UHMWPE fiber, which is used in Cutlon, is 15 times stronger than steel.
Comfort: In addition to being durable, Cutlon® is also thin and flexible. Thanks to the UHMWPE fiber, the fabric does not absorb moisture and transfers heat away from the skin.
Versatility: Thanks to its unique comfort, Cutlon is suitable for use from ice hockey rinks to construction sites, and from base layers to gloves.
Compliance: Cutlon cut-resistant fabric is tested according to EN388 and ANSI ISEA standards. It has also successfully passed the official skate cut test CEN/TS.

Washing intructions: Machine wash with a normal program at 40 degrees Celsius
Cutting: Laser cutting is the most suitable way for cutting.
Sewing: Use a regular sewing machine
Safety Standards for Cut-Resistant Fabrics
Cutlon® cut-resistant fabric is tested according to EN388 and ANSI standards in official test laboratories and has successfully passed the CEN/TS skate cut test. The tests in accordance with EN388 standard measure the cut, tear, and abrasion resistance of textile materials.
